Moore resident weighs in on 'Spartanburg Six' votes

It's always nice to find Moore residents who appreciate and support their public schools. This one, David Turnipseed, was moved to write a letter in response to attacks on the six Spartanburg lawmakers who voted to support South Carolina's public schools and to keep public dollars out of private schools.

I am delighted to hear that recent letter writer William “W.T.” Clark is very annoyed by Rita Allison, Doug Brannon, Derham Cole, Mike Forrester, Steve Parker and Eddie Tallon for their support of public education. Anyone who would demonize public school teachers and administration by calling them “education union thugs” deserves to be annoyed.

Hopefully, Mr. Clark will continue to be annoyed.

Good for you, Mr. Turnipseed. I look forward to reading more of your work.
